Finished drilling, dimping, and removing plastic from the W-603 top wing skin (Rt). With a few minor glitches (see next entry) involving the overlap area and extra rivets.
Could have used some more clecoes because they are in use on a number of other components.
Had to clean of the drill align lines and redraw them to compensate for the slight deviation in the ribs (T/E) towards the inbd (about 1/8th inch). This was causing the drill line to be a little off centerline of the ribs but caught and adjusted before it was 'bad'.
There will be a couple of VERY difficult rivets to buck, because of their position near other pieces (aileron brackets in particular). There were a couple of places where rivet spacing was close to rib flutes but after review and dimpling I think they are okay.
I may someday be a "repeat offender" but NEVER on an RV before the introduction of pre-punched components. The alignment and drill spacing is a major challenge. It's actually a wonder that anyone every finished 'scratch built' kits.
