Brief Description:  W-411 end rib and W-406/407 aileron brkts

Removed the outboard rib of the Rt wing and prepared it for backdrilling, straightened, flute adjustments, and clean-up. Then re-installed and performed a variety of drilling tasks, through the bottom wing skin (which was factory drilled at 1 1/4" spacing), and used the rivet fan to drill the aft and fwd ends of the rib at 1" spacing. Then re-installed and backdrilled through the main spar into the W-411A leading edge end rib. Also, used the Sharpie to draw a center line along the rib flanges for adjustments for the pre-drilled wing holes. (#1)

Checked alignment of the outbd aileron brkt without the end rib in-place and layed out the rivet spacing. Dwg # ... shows the spacing for these rivets and it is NOT possible to do this spacing because the factory fabricated bracket is slightly smaller. Made appropriate adjustments to spacing by complying with edge distance requirements and evenly spaced remaining rivets holes. Instead of 3/4" - these are about 1/16" closer. The outbd aileron bracket requires a row of rivets on the rear spar that are inbd of the rib rivets, and the bracket sits on top of (and covers) the rib rivets. Plans call for C/S on the rear spar reinforcement for the end rib attachment.

Position of the bracket requires 1 5/8" from the centerline of the tooling holes along the wing chord. I used a straight-edge side-clamped to the end rib to determine the extend chord line and then c-clamped the aileron bracket in-place for aileron rough fitting. Same alignment for the inbd bracket. The inboard bracket also MUST be at a pre-determined distance from the wing root.
