Deburred previously flap brace, previously lightened. Trimmed to 55 1/2" per Dwg #17 and clecoed in place with side grips. Setting the flap on supports, aligned it with the flap brace where the matching hinge half would be mounted. Note that in #2, it appears that the flap is about 2 1/2" too long and cannot fit on wing and against fuselage (#3). Another RV-6 builder says this is 'trimmed at wing insertion stage' and will work out fine. Will want to research dimensions carefully before committing to drilling and cutting further.

Note in #3 that the fuselage narrows aft of the rear spar attach bracket and it is expected that the flap is trimmed so that the lower sking actually goes under the fuselage, while the upper flap skin is trimmed to allow a small gap between the inbd end and the fuselage. Right now is is not clear how much room will be there for this work.

Look for further note about the universal rivets under the flap brace, already mentioned once.
