Brief Description:  Set Angle of Incidence & Sweep of wings

A long and frustrating attempt to align the wings IAW procedure for establishing the Angle of Incidence and the Sweep of the LE.

Assisted by my daughter to push/pull and sweet-talk the wings to nudge a little in one direction or the other, we attempted to hang four plumb-bobs from the LE edge of the two wings, one at each end (outbd, inbd) for both wings. Then using a simple sight alignment, we went through the re-iterative sequence of stabilizing the bobs, then aligning the LE along all four points on a straight line. Then, when aligned 'better' to measure the distance from equal points on the aft fuselage (HS mounts) and the corner of the LE skin on top of the main spar at each outbd wing.

At one point I used a couple of tie-down straps connected between the wing tie-down, and the tail tie-down rings and exerting a gentle pull to bring the right wing sweep back slightly. The wing appeared to not twitch one micro-inch. Later I concluded that the main spar bolts prevented the layers of the main spar from 'sliding' (flexing) and we needed to freeze the right wing and make the necessary adjustments on the other wing 1st.

Took a long breather, and re-visited next evening after work. Closer than I had thought when I quit.
