Last night I made a bump from some blue foam, and this morning with the fibreglass set, it was a simple matter of pouring in some acetone to melt the foam, then some work with the sander and a coat of high temp paint and its back to original condition again.
I also installed the six nut plates down each side and six across the rear as recommended by RVbits to locate the lid.
Today also involved various other clean up jobs required before the move to the airport.
I am hoping to move at least the wings to the airport next weekend, but hopefully the fuselage too.
