Brief Description: 1 - Attempted reforming of tip rib
I checked the fit of the wing tips and they have about 1/2" gap between the skin and the composite on both wings. I think this can be overcome during installation.
I removed the tip ribs an found that they were not formed correctly along 5 or 6 flanges. You can see in the photo how the holes and flanges are curved in this area.
I attempted re-forming the left tip rib, with some success, but it looks ugly and I'm not sure if I have the correct profile, so I'm hoping for replacements at this point.
