Brief Description: 2 - Measured and cut control sticks for grip
It became obvious when I mounted the stick grips, that they were way too tall. I assume the stock sticks allowed for full length with just a slip-over grip, so I needed to cut them. I installed the pilot's seat and sat down in the cockpit for the first time; Woo-Hoo!
I dis-assembled the control sticks and measured where the grip should be which is just below the top bend. The Tosten grips have this bend in them when mounted correctly, so It works out pretty well.
I cut the tubes with a pipe cutter, and filed the ends perpendicular. Being so close to the bend, the pipe cutter doesn't make a straight cut.
