Brief Description: 3 - completed rod end install; connected hinge
Attaching the rod end to the elevator turned out to be a very tedious task. The holes on either side of the tail are not aligned with the connection, so I had to tilt the elevator about 30 or 40 degrees to get the socket wrench on the nut.
In addition, I dropped nuts, washers and bolts numerous times and spent a lot of additional time fishing them out.
I was finally able to install the hardware on the center hinge of the elevator after much fumbling, but I am not able to tighten it within the space available and the wrenches I have. I have order some ratcheting box-end wrenches for the job.
