Brief Description: RV-8 gear tower modification Part 1
Started work on the gear tower modification.
Drew up plans for the .040 thick cover plate and associated attach points.
Mark the gear tower for cut lines connecting the two original holes.
Marked the location of all 18 nut plates.
Cut the opening into each gear tower with a nibbler for a rough cut and then fine tuned the cutout with a file and a scotchbrite wheel on an angle grinder.
