Duckworks HID landing lights have started using a new Ballast just recently and the instrctions have not kept up, or at least not mine at the time I mounted my landing and taxi lights. The instructions talk about using a mounting bracket in the kit but with the new ballast there is no such bracket. I made a call to Duckworks and asked. They said to just drill some holes and use zip ties to hold the ballast in place. Well I thought about it and today I decided to make my own mounting bracket for the ballast out of some .020 aluminum. I am much happier with the result.
