Brief Description:  Installed man pressure, throttle & mixture cables

Today was Thanksgiving so Claude and I decided to take the day off but I got to thinking how much there was to do so Nell and I went out for a while. I drilled a hole in the firewall next to the engine monitor wires and installed a bulkhead fitting for the manifold pressure. I then got inside, and, after struggling to get the insulation blanket down, hooked it up to a small tube and then to the manifold pressure sensor. While under the glare shield, I redid the ground for the sensor. Keith did not like the way I had grounded it before. In fact this installation has been done because Keith didn't like our copper tube connection for the manifold pressure. Image #1 shows the bulk head fitting and Image #2 shows the completed job. See the woven hose going from the intake manifold to the fire wall........ I then hooked up the throttle and the mixture. See Image #3. In this picture you can see that I have painted all connections with finger nail polish to remind us that they have been torqued.......It is interesting to note that today we were working on the throttle and exactly one year ago we were installing the fuel lines in the interior. Now hopefully the fuel system is complete!
