Brief Description: Hung exhaust & carb heat cable-Wired both mags
Today, we first finished installing the tail pipe hangers and tightened everything down. See Image #1. The right tail pipe will be close to the cowling but it may be enough. We won't be able to tell until we put the cowl back on. On the left, I think that we will be O.K....... We then installed the cable to the carb heat door. We then anchored the cable down to the sub-panel and when activated everything seems to work well. In Image #2 you can see that carb heat door retracted so as to bypass carb heat, the door is open under some tension as we desire....... We then wired the mags. I had been concerned for months that P-lead on the right would be too short but things worked out well. We still have not grounded the mags to the engine/firewall but the wires are installed on the mags and the fittings are in place.
