Brief Description: Air scoop fiberglassed-air box sealed
Today, Nell and I worked on getting the fiber glass to line the foam and air scoop. We marked, wet down and cut 3 pieces of fiberglass soaked with epoxy resin. We then laid it down in the air scoop and foam block and tried to hold it in place with a balloon. See Nell holding it in place in Image #1. However, when we would let the balloon go, it would work its way out. In the process of reinserting it several times, the fiberglass shifted, I am afraid. We also had a few places around the drain plug on the carb where there was not a good seal with the mounting plate, so I used some RTV to seal it.
