I went out to the hangar briefly today to see if the air filter seal using Pro Seal worked any better than RTV. I still had a time getting the filter off the accelerator pump and trying I again broke one side of the seal off. Since it didn't seem that Pro Seal worked any better than RTV, again I used RTV to seal just the area that had pulled apart so now I hope that it will come of the pump intact. I really used much wax this time. I will let it sit for at least a couple of days.
