Brief Description:  Foam fit to air intake-Manifold pressure installat

Claude is having surgery today and will be out 4-6 weeks so Nell & I tried to carry on. We are continuing work on the air box. We must now fabricate an extension of the cowl air scoop to fit the air box. The first step is to fashion a sponge to fit the aft side of the scoop. I made a template of cereal box and then matched it on the sponge. Image #1 shows the finished sponge. Image #2 shows that it now fits well. The next step is to put the air box and carb back on and then cut the sponge so as to act as a form to lay up fiberglass in. Since yesterday, when I was taking the air filter, even the pro seal, which I thought would work better than the RTV, didn't hold. I added some more RTV and couldn't do any more work on the air box until this sets. .... I decided to begin to install the manifold pressure sensor to the engine monitor. I scrambled to get under the instrument panel and find a place to mount the sensor box. I found a place and mounted the box using Velcro. I then wired the box to the EIS and also to power and ground. I was able to combine the ground with the ground for the electric primer. I still have to run copper tubing from the #3 cylinder to the box.
