Brief Description: Cut & fit carb heat inlet & door
Today we cut the carb heat door and carefully trimmed it to fit the air box inlet (Image #3). Then we cut the Carb heat inlet to size so that the hinges would slip through the inlet but the door would still close it off (see Image #1& #2). We cut the hinge to size, fit the pin making it slightly shorter than the hinge. We then braded the outside hinge loops so that the pin is now locked in place. Image #3 shows that after we drilled the hinge, spacer, and carb heat door, we have a good fit!
