Brief Description:  More baffle work

We made cut outs in the rear baffles to let the spar plug wire come through. We then mounted everything and checked and adjusted the front/side baffles so as to get 3/8" clearance with the air inlet ramps. We did discover that we had a gap around the front of the engine on the right that will require closing with a strip of aluminum. Keith, the A&P, inspected our work and found that it looks OK. Hopefully, he will soon help us finish hooking up the engine so that we can test run it. We still must work on fabricating the air box before engine start. I saurely would like to get an air worthiness inspection some time in November. Image #1 shows the cabin heat flange that will hook up to the muff right below it and also above the flange you can see the white spark plug wire grommet on the right side. There is of course another on the left just inboard from our baffle mounted oil cooler.
