Brief Description: Air exit bracket - oil cooler brace worked on
I had quite a time drilling the hole in nose gear flange to mount the exit air bracket but finally did as seen in Image #1. Things were so close that I couldn't even get my right angle drill without a struggle. When I did get the holes drilled, the flange on gear was so close that I had a time getting the bolts and nuts in place. We want to start to work mounting the oil cooler so I counter sunk and riveted the special brace to the rear baffle. This can be seen in Image #2. It will be close but with some trimming of the inboard flange of the cooler, I think it will fit next to the motor mount without obstruction. I want to make sure about the hoses before I start cutting etc. I think I will let Keith Thompson check it out first.
