Claude is still sick so Nell helped me again. I drilled the oil cooler brace to the rear baffle. I then turned to the "cam locks". They are really from Milspec and were bought on group buy through Van's Airforce. I have never seen any so I hope that I interpreted the instructions properly. The upper cowl and the mounting strip had already been drilled so I took the strip off and using the 2 templates, I drilled the central hole to size and then riveted them on. This can be seen in Image #1. Image #2 shows them mounted on the firewall. Tomorrow, I will enlarge the holes in the cowl and insert the "fingers" etc. I hope that it all lines up! I have marked the forward side baffles where they appear to need to be cut. There are no drawings of this cut because the drawings were made before the inlet ramp was added. I have looked at Vern Little's pictures and his appear to have been cut where I have marked mine.
