Brief Description:  Air inlet ramp installation/wind screen fairing wo

We cut the oil cooler brace down to the contour of the cowling. We then clecoed the air inlet ramps to cowl air inlet and then fit the cowl in place and marked where we had to cut the out board side of the ramps to fit the lateral wall baffles. See Image #1. This seems to fit OK after several fittings, but we will have to cut the baffles down top match the ramps so that the seals will lay properly. We also plan to close off the inboard side of the ramp before we are finished. Claude was sick and he went home early so Nell, my wife, came out to help. I mixed up some epoxy to cover the fairing around the wind screen. I placed 2 layers of electrical tape down first and planned to pull the top layer off when the epoxy started to set. However it was much cooler today than when I last worked with the epoxy and it didn't set up as soon as I had planned. I pulled the first layer of tape off thinking that this would give me a good edge. However the epoxy sagged over the 2nd layer so I still will have to work to get a good edge on the bottom side. See Image #2 The top side is OK. It is interesting to look back a year ago and see what we were doing. As seen in Image #3, we were just beginning to work on the seat backs. It seems so long ago!
