Brief Description:  Wind screen fairing-Fnt. bulkhead trimming

Today, I sanded out the micro balloons/epoxy on the wind screen and now have it fairly smooth and nearly ready for a coat of dilute epoxy. It seems to have turned out fairly well in light of the fact that I hate fiber glass and sanding. We made the F2B and F12B angles and drilled them so as to stabilize the floors and the forward bulk head and then in several steps cut down the forward bulk head. We now have clearance all around as can be seen by looking at the paper clips on the edge. We still don't have quite enough clearance but we were tired of the process and will probably complete it Monday. Every time we decide to remove a little off, you have to unclip the angles and clecoes and remove the bulkhead & grind a little. Then you have to replace the bulkhead, clecoes, paper clips etc and measure again. I do believe we are close though. We will begin mounting the oil cooler next week also. We didn't have any 5/16" aluminum tubing for spacers so I ordered some today from Air Craft Spruce. It should be here when we are ready.
