Brief Description: Worked on rear side and aft baffles
Today we made the angles that reinforce the rear side wall baffle on the left that helps support the oil cooler. I also ordered another support for the oil cooler from Van's. We then marked and cut off 1/2 inch of the top of the right and left rear baffles and found that this gives us clearance between the baffles and the cowling. I will check out this gap further tomorrow with paper clips put on the upper edges of the baffles. We also drilled several of the baffle parts and painted them with grey heat resistant paint that almost matches the Lycoming paint.
