Brief Description: Worked on left side and rear baffles
We had to do some grinding around the valve covers to get the left front and rear side baffles to fit. Then we drilled the bolt reinforcing pieces and drilled and clecoed them in place. We also made and drilled the retention clip holding the front and rear pieces together. We then fashioned the stiffening angle as seen in Image #1. However we can't drill it until we do some more work on the reinforcement angles for the oil cooler. We plan to mount it on the outboard left rear baffle. It will also like to add another support for it on the inboard side but this is not in the plan. I think that Van's has one available but they are closed today, Labor Day, so I can't order it yet. Claude made the finger spacer and I riveted it in place. After a little grinding here and there, we finally got the rear inboard baffle in good position.
