Today, we cut and drilled and clecoed cowl side hinges. See Image #1. We then cut and filed the bottom cowl at the back and side. We now have a good fit but we can even the edges a bit more. See Image #2. The cowls now fit together nicely with the proper height and gap behind the prop spinner. They mate without having to force anything. We now have to cut the horizontal junction between the upper and lower cowl and do a little finish sanding and then we will do some more work on the hinges.
