We prepped and primed the hinges and added a spacer under the Camloc mounting strip and primed it as well. We also curved the strip so it would fit better and bent the "teeth" downward. Claude found that I had misread the spec's for the height of the upper cowl to the spinner and so we lowed this from 1/8" above to 1/8" below the spinner to allow for sagging of the engine. We marked the horizontal cut for the lower cowl but did not cut it. We still have a good fit but we were too tired of filing, fitting and then refiling or cutting that we decided we would continue next week.
