We had decided to use CamLocks on the upper cowl instead of hinges, and we hadVern Darley, on his last EAA inspection, had suggested that we had not cut the "teeth" deep enoung on the 0.060 strip of aluminum. So today we did that, cutting them back to the firewall. We then clamped them to the firewall and forward skin, drilled them, countersunk the strip and primed them. We also did another trial fit of the top cowl and everything seems to be ready to cut it to length tomorrow.
