Brief Description:  Mounted prop, Fit cowl, Rolled N417CT for 1st time

We mounted the prop and with the correct size bolts had no problem this time. In Image #1 you can see the prop mounted and the spinner taped on. Behind the spinner is a 3/16" board to use as a spacer to fit the upper cowl. I think she looks MEAN don't you? We just couldn't stand it and taped the bottom cowl on, even though we really need to do allot of fitting on the top cowl first. When we had the cowls and prop and spinner on, guess what? We just had to ROLL N417CT out for a photo op. This is first time she has seen open skys and I could feel that she just wanted to get up into those pretty white puffs. You can't tell from image #2 that I am a bit proud can you?
I thought that it would be interesting to see what my bird looked like 14 months. In Image #3 you can tell we have really come a long way!
I will be going up to Louisville this weekend to get some more transition time with Pierre Smith in his RV6A if the thunderstorms don't get us!
