Brief Description:  Wind screen-canopy work-Cut FG strips

Today we took the peal ply off the wind screen fairing but of coarse have not done any sanding. You can see it in Image #1 & #2. I think that it will look acceptable after some sanding and maybe some filling in with micro balloons. I thought that we would lay up the fairing over the gap between the canopy and wind screen but we found that we needed to do more sanding and fitting on the gap between the two before we could lay up glass. Apparently, when we pulled the wind screen in with the fairing, it closed the gap between it and the canopy. We now have reestablished an acceptable gap, sanded the wind screen and covered the canopy with packing tape and wax and MAYBE tomorrow we will lay the glass up. We cut the strips today. We have to lay up some short strips at the bottom of the fairing because the side skirts stand "proud" over the wind screen. I think that we can build up the wind screen with several short glass strips before we lay the long strips.
