Brief Description:  Wind screen washed, sanded, taped

We used electrician's tape to apply to the wind screen and front deck after we measured a gap 2" wide in the center and gently increasing to 3" on the side. The tape bends around the corners much better than masking tape. We then sanded the gap with #80 sand paper, & washed it with soap and water. Then we taped another area at the bottom of the wind screen. This will be filled with micro balloons. We had planned to do that today, but we had visitors that we enjoyed talking with about building airplanes. However, by the time they left, we didn't have time to apply the micro balloons and then wait until they set some before we could remove the tape. Maybe we will get to them tomorrow. I also applied packing tape and car wax to the canopy so that the fairing will not stick to it...I hope.
