Brief Description: Panel connected-Canopy frame first fitting
I crawled BACK under the panel today and got every thing reconnected. Claude had written a list of things that we needed to connect and it came in very handy. We then reconnected the battery and lit everything up. All still worked. We even rolled the plane outside and checked the new 430 GPS antenna. It located us right on KAYS just to the west of the main runway. The EFIS and all its functions continue to amaze me. See Image #1 & #2. We then moved on to more complex things! I finished back riveting the slide to the spacer. All seemed to do fine. Then we placed the slide on the fuse with tape and slipped the rear of the canopy frame over it and tried our first fit of the frame to the track and fuse. As you can see in Image #3, we have a way to go! The instructions are confusing to me and I was tired so we quit and will try again tomorrow.
