Brief Description:  Nutplate for lens-EIS wires routed thru firewall

Claude continued to work on the wing tip lens today. He got a "perfect" fit on the left tip and then began to install nut plates (Image #1). WE are working on this to finish the work on the wing tips so we can install the strobes (already wired) and the nav antennas. He also began working on the routing of the routing of the cabin heater control cable.
While he was doing that, I continued to work on the EIS wiring. I installed a 200 ohm resistor between the 4.7 v power wire and the fuel pressure sensor using but splices and a double layer of shrink wrap. The installation seems to be stable. I then identified the wires from the A connector of the GRT EIS, labeling the ones that go through the firewall to various sensors, passed all the sensor wires through conduit (See Image #2), drilled a 3/4 inch hole through the firewall and passed the wires through a firewall bushing.
Image #3 shows the oil and fuel pressure sensors temporarily mounted on the firewall. Tomorrow I will wire them since I now have the wires out to them. We can't permanently mount the sensors until we finish riveting the forward deck substructures.
We are working furiously to finish all the components that are mounted under the forward deck so we can remove the instrument panel and then rivet the forward deck skins in place. We still have the static and petot plumbing to do. We were short a few connectors so I made another call to Spruce.
