Brief Description:  Powered up panel=finished fitting rudder bottom

Today, I finished putting pins of the roll servo and plugged it in. We then temporarily connected the AHRS and fired up the panel for the first time. We had pulled all the breakers first and then pushed them in one at a time. All came alive! We used the external com antenna that came with the ELT and hooked it up to the Garmin 430 and the ICOM 200 radios and even in the hangar were able to talk to the FBO and hear Jax Center! The pitch servo seems to be slipping and we will try to set the torque tomorrow. The roll servo seems to work. The GRT EFIS fired right up as seen in Image #1. The only thing that seems to be causing trouble is the flap position switch. The flaps were in the up position and all was well as I pushed the switch down and watched the flaps go down in increments. However when fully down they would not retract. I left a thread on Van's Air Force re this. I still have not hooked up my stick switches so we had to use a remote push to talk. While I was working on the panel Claude finished fitting the rudder bottom and it looks great!
