Brief Description:  Wired main plug to panel-Modified rudder bottom

I finished crimping all the pins on all the wires to P1 plug that carriers most of the wires to the panel. In Image #1 you can see my wires running in from the right and Aerotronics wires on the left. You can see that all my wires are labeled. The bundle is really neat and runs through conduit up the center inspection plate to the firewall and then over to the right. It is anchored in one place with an Adel clamp. All the wires are now run except of course the alternator wires and the P-leads to the mags. We are afraid to fire it up though. I called Aerotronics and they said to pull all the brackets and then push them in one at a time. We also have to wire a diode to the starter relay. I also ran the telephone wire from the ELT to the panel. I ran it behind the side panels on the baggage compartment and up under the arm rest. It was also joined by the AOA flap switch sensor wire. While I was doing this, Claude removed the rudder bottom and trimmed off approx. 5/8 inch off it to shorten it so it matched the fuse. This was not much trouble but he had some difficulty drilling it to match the nut plates that I had installed on the rudder earlier. He made a hole duplicator of sorts and got the job done. Then he had to glass in the old holes in the rudder bottom. It is shown in Image #3 after the old holes had been glassed and just before it was installed back on the air plane. It really does look better and we thank Vern Darley for pointing this out to us!
