Brief Description:  Routed wires to panel

We decided to check to see that the forward deck structures had not shifted since we mounted the panel and altered the subpanel and that the forward top skin still fits. All the holes which had already been reamed still lined up.
We then routed all the wires from both wings and the tail up through the center tunnel and over to the main plug that will carry most of the wiring to the panel. The wires included the strobe power, all nav lights, the fuel gauge wires, flap switches, aux fuel pump, etc. They all are nicely bundled together and ready for putting on pins for the plugs. The autopilot servo wires also routed to their respective plugs for the pitch and roll servo. These wires already have pins in place but we will need John, the FAA technician, to show how to insert them into their plugs. He should be back Monday.
Vern Darley will be coming tomorrow for another EAA tech counselor inspection. I spent a good deal of the time today cleaning things up in the hangar so he will have a good impression, I hope. He has inspected the project earlier but tomorrow will be a more detail examination.
He will fly up in his RV 6A and if the weather is OK will give me an hour of transition time. I have never been up in an RV and I am really looking forward to the experience. It has been almost a year since I have flown so I know that I will be rusty and am more than a little up tight about the flight.
