Brief Description: Aileron trim-Right stick wiring-Routing strobe wir
We again worked on the aileron trim, wiring of the right control stick for PTT and autopilot disconnect. We also drilled and bolted the "removable stick" as suggested in the latest advisory. We also routed the strobe wires around the seat bulkhead and through black conduit painted grey to match the interior back along the wall on the left through the baggage compartment. We have to run the wires to the left control stick, AOA flap switch, the ELT which will be mounted on the right fuse behind the baggage bulkhead using the new plate offered at Van's. We also are trying to decide where to mount the Garmin 430 GPS antenna. We are thinking on the front aft skin but don't know exactly where we could mount it and still be clear of the sliding canopy......I am filling out the registration forms to send to the FAA. I think that this is the first step in the process of "certifying" N417CT.
