Brief Description:  Static system-aileron trim-contol stick wiring

We wanted to finish up running the static line to the front and finish running some wiring from back to front and reverse so we can start on the panel wiring in earnest. We had installed the Van's static ports consisting of pop rivets held in with RTV earlier but had installed the T fitting seen in Image #1 or run the 1/4 inch tubing to the front. You can see that we are using some tie wrap anchors to hold the line in place but instead of using the double sided tape we are using epoxy glue. We finished today by drilling a 1/4 inch hole in the left side of the 705 bulkhead as is seen in the RVator and run up under the side rail. This can be seen in Image #2. We then began wiring our stick grips by running 4 #22 gauge wires thru the right spar box and to the right stick but before we ran the wires on up the stick we decided we had better install the through bolt in the stick as is described in the latest advisory and also install the aileron trim since these had not been done and might conflict with the wiring. It should take us another day on the trim and a little while to finish the bolt on the right stick. I have already drilled a 3/16th hole at the base of the stick for the switch wire. This run will not be too hard since we only have a PTT and autopilot disconnect switch on the right and the stick is in 2 pieces. It will be harder on the left since the stick is one piece and I have 3 switches on the left. The extra one is for an audio panel mute switch.....We so badly desire to see the panel fired up but these things are necessary but not as much fun.
