Brief Description:  Wiring and routing left wing & pitch servo

Today I climbed in the fuse and down on my knees, I cut back the conduit and routed all the wires and pitot tube thru the grommet just under the large access hole through which runs the push rod and then ran the bundle through the spar box grommets. All went well except trying to get the cold Teflon pitot tubing to make the turn out of the wing root. There was some crimping of the tubing so I straightened it out, checked to be sure that there was no tearing of the tubing and then covered the tube with a second vinyl tube of larger size so as to keep the Teflon tube from recrimping. (See Image #1) I have since the photo used several cable ties to bundle the wires and tubing together.... I then tried to run the strobe wires from the wings down through the center tunnel but found there was not room. We also noticed that there were 5/8 in. plastic bushings installed on the right side of the tunnel in all the bulkheads except the baggage bulkhead so I drilled a pilot hole and then using a unibit, drilled the bulkhead to the right size. Now we have a bushing on the right side of the tunnel to match the one on the left side used for the manual trim cable. We then decided that we would run the pitch servo wire and the flap switch and motor wires and maybe the ELT cable or the magnetometer cable thru the tunnel if we have enough room.(See Image #2).... We will run the strobe cables and power supply power, the AOA sensor wires, the static tube, and the power wire to the tail nav light beneath the upper fuse rail. I hope that we can get all these through!
