Today we permanently installed the pitch servo and shortened the servo push rod so that it could not go over dead center. I then safety wired the bolts...3 times. (See Image #1) I think that the 3rd. time will pass inspection. We then wired it (See Image #2)..... We then decided that we had had a rat nest of wires coming out of the wings long enough. In fact I had been very concerned for MONTHS that we would not find a way to get the nav light power, the roll servo wire, the 2 AOA tubes and the nav antenna wire all through the plastic bushing out of the wing and thru the plastic bushings across the right side of the spar box. However, with a little encouragement, all went through and I now have them up ready for wiring when the panel comes. Tomorrow, we will try to get the wires, pitot tube etc from the left wing threaded through the left side of the spar box.... I would have never thought it would be possibleto get all these wires etc through those little bushing!... Now we must figure a way to get the wiring from the back of the plane to the front. I think that we can get most through the center tunnel but probably not all.
