We drilled the attach angle plate in the specified holes and were able to drill out the rivets that the folks in the Philippines apparently put in the incorrect place. We then added one extra hole in the center of the flange to strengthen the attach angle.... We adjusted the trim cable length. We then fabricated the tail tie down bar and went to a local machine shop and had it taps to 3/8x32. Then we made the up elevator stop. It was quite complex but I think that Claude figured it out. We then began trying to figure out how we will get the tie down bar inside the tail of the plane and drill it thru the rear bulkhead. I will look on the web and see if I find any suggestions. We also got some supplies for our first try at fiberglassing. We will have to fix the vertical stabilizer and rudder caps before we put the rudder and stabilizer up in the air. I am not looking forward to this at all.
