We shortened the front spar on the vert. stab.,clamped the vert. stab in place and aligned it vertically by measuring to each horz. stab. tip. When these were equal, we then adjusted the height. We then drilled the elevator up stop to the rear spar of the vert. stab. (see Image #3). We then checked the alignment of the rudder hinges and they were "spot-on". Tomorrow we will drill the 906 attach plate and also the tie down bracket........I called Aerotronics today and they have received the Garmin 430W (the WAAS capable unit). The panel has been checked out and they should send it to me by the end of the month. The altimeter is back-ordered but all else is in place.
