Brief Description:  Installed rear elev. pushrod/trim cable

I worked on the low-pressure brake lines to the brake reservoir. We are not going to mount the reservoir yet for fear it might interfere with something in the engine compartment..... We finished drilling & riveting the 2 elevator push rods. We then zeroed the elevator and the bell crank and inserted the large push rod and adjusted its length. We had no problem with the rod being too short as others had or with there not being enough of the rod end bearing in the thimble .... We then threaded the manual trim cable from the fuel selector back through the tunnel and out the tail and into the elevator. We finally found the nut that is riveted to the trim cable access port and marked the rivet lines. Tomorrow, we will attach the trim cable to the trim tab and maybe even start on mounting the vert. stab.... The temp this morning was a chilly 34 but by noon, it had risen to 54. We had a nice bike ride around the airport. Boy, there were many planes flying today. I have never seen so many except during Fun 'n Sun. I guess the front that finally went through during the night had people trapped.
