Brief Description:  Installed rudder pedals-Worked on elev push rods

We had previously temporarily fitted the rudder pedals a couple of months ago but took them out to wait until we finished the brake and fuel lines. We also had not drilled any extra holes so we could move the rudder pedals closer to the pilots if necessary but had drilled them at the extreme distance thinking that at my 6'1" this would be where I would need them. However today, we decided to also drill one set of holes an inch closer just in case. Having done that, I fitted everything, riveted the support angle and torqued everything down. I also installed the brake flex hoses from the firewall to the master cylinders. I don't plan any brakes for the co-pilot because I had heard that this occasionally makes the chance of the pedals sticking or the lines leaking more likely. ...... While I was working on the rudder pedals, Claude was getting the elevator push rods ready for riveting. We had already cut our rods to the length on the plans but have been reading that that might be too short when installed. If they are, we plan to install 2 lock nuts, which should take care of the problem of the push rods coming disconnected if the lock nut loosens.
