Brief Description: Wings back on/Bolts in spar/Fuel-vent lines in
Today we finished up some things on the wings then drilled the bulkhead for the vent line and installed the first section of vent line, flaring the tank end. After finding 4 others to help us, we installed both wings, hopefully for the LAST time. We had some trouble tapping the permanent close tolerance bolts through the spar but got a heavier hammer to encourage them. The bottom 2 large nuts are especially hard to put on because of the close quarters of the gear weldment. We then lined up the fuel and vent lines with the fuel tank and things seemed to line up well. We still have to drive in the AN4 bolts into the spar box and torque all the bolts and install the fuel tank attach brackets....The weather today was beautiful and if it is like this tomorrow, we should be able to work well again.
