Brief Description:  Continued work on right wing tip

We continued to work on the right wing tip today. We received # 6 plate nuts, countersinks, and dimples for the wing tip today. All our tools that we use on the fiberglass will be too dull to use on aluminum again so we had to order duplicates. We drilled, countersunk and riveted 2/3's. of the #6 nut plates on the tip and riveted the 916 rib to the tip as seen in Image #2. We also marked and drilled the area for the other tip rib but cannot rivet it in place until we first glue it in place with epoxy. We plan to delay doing this until we reach that point on the left wing tip so we don't have to mix epoxy twice. Tomorrow, we will finish the nut plates and then ream and dimple the wing skin to fit the tip nut plates ...... Today was our coldest day yet, 32 degrees, but the hangar was tolerable with a couple of coats on. We still haven't hooked up our gas heater yet. We are drinking a 2-quart thermos of hot tea a day now that the weather has turned off cold. The British would be proud of us for we are also taking some cakes with it. I don't guess that you would call it a high tea but a tea nonetheless.
