Brief Description:  Finished rt. wing tip-Fit & drilled lt. wing tip

I finished all the nut plates on the rt. wing tip while Claude dimpled the wing skins to accept #6 screws. We then put the tip on and everything lined up well..... We then got the left tip out and using the right tip as a guide, we cut out the clearance areas. This went much faster than on the right wing. We then moved the right wing back in the stand and put the left wing on the worktable. We then fit the left tip on the wing and found that the cutouts were OK. We had just a small amount of gap in the nose of the tip and feel that we can fill that with epoxy. We then drilled the tip in assembly with the wing starting at the tip and working toward the tail after we zeroed the aileron and lined the tip up with it. Claude drilled the top and I, lying on a creeper, drilled the bottom. He would drill one hole and I would drill the opposite hole on the bottom. We then fit the W916 rib and marked it. We will lay out the rivet line on the tip for it tomorrow.
