Brief Description:  Installed dimpled nut plates-wing root

Since we had a short week, we decided to work some today (Saturday). We finished installing the nut plates on the inspection panels on left wing and drilled, dimpled and riveted all the nut plates on the under surface of the left wing root. This time we used the correct nut plates (1100) and dimpled them etc. There were several places that we couldn't squeeze rivets so we drove them satisfactorily. Some of the areas could not be dimpled so we used a combination of dimple plus slight countersinking. ....... We didn't have a 1" hole saw to drill the fuselage for the fuel lines so I got one at Eldridge's. I was able to drill 2 good holes so that when we finish on the wing roots we can install the fuel lines. There some bends in these lines that will be difficult to make. We used so much aluminum tubing on the first fuel line that I will have to order some more to finish the 2 lines left.
