Brief Description:  Pitot wiring installed-Began riveting left wing sk

We finished wiring the pitot tube controller this morning. We decided to "tin" the leads so we hope that they will stay in place better. We then checked all the torque values on the bolts in both wings and marked them with fingernail polish. We wanted everything done inside the wing before we began skinning them. We then put the left wing up on the work table and laid on the out-board bottom skin, clecoing it in place. Next we began riveting it in place starting at the trailing edge spar as we had been instructed. The riveting went extremely well with no re-do's. However it was quite a stretch to buck some of them as can be seen in Image #2. We finished approximately 1/2 of the rivets on the spar and then decided we had better work down the ribs beginning in-board. We will do that Monday. There are a few places along the main spar that will really be hard to get to with the bucking bar but I think we have a method worked out to roll the skin back and reach in through the lightening holes and access panels. It will be hard to wait until Monday to see if we can do it! Our riveting had really come a long way since we first begun and we may be able to do things now that a couple of months ago would have been impossible.
