Brief Description: Roll servo finished/Pitot tube, nut plates etc ins
We had finished pulling all the wing wires yesterday and as you can see in Image #1 there are QUITE a few!!!!.........Longer bolts for the servo came in from Spruce yesterday so we finished installing the roll servo this morning. We torqued all the bolts and marked them with Nell's finger nail polish to show that they have been done. (See Image #2)....We finished installing all the major components of the Gretz heated pitot, having several nut plates to install in difficult locations. We have made a good ground with a large nut plate, we hope. Tomorrow we will be able to install all the wires on the circuit board and hook up the garden tractor battery to it to see if it works. I wish now I hadn't gotten such a complicated system....More to break!.......I will try to call Van's today to see if they think we could go ahead an install the bottom outboard skin so that when we install the wing, we could leave it.
