Brief Description:  Finished installing baggage floors Started on forw

Today we finished installing all the nut plates and rivets on both the baggage floors and side plates. Many of these rivets were pop rivets but some had to be driven and came out OK. After we finished driving all these rivets etc, I got a weak feeling. I hope that we don't have to go back under there to install some wiring etc. I don't think we will but it would be a mess if we did..... We then moved forward and started to work on the forward center tunnel cover. It requires fabricating two rather complicated support "Z" angles and bending the cover plate "exactly" 1/4 of an inch up and 5/8 inch back from leading edge. Claude had borrowed a brake from his brother, Sonny Stokes, a while back and so we used it. The support brackets will need a little more work.... In the mean time, we will start to work on the seat backs. .... I called Van's today and the finish kit has a 2 month delivery delay plus shipping time so I went ahead and ordered it. It will have the canopy, canopy rails, and the motor and tricycle landing gear mounts. I hope that we will be about ready for them when they come! If we aren't the storage space might be a problem.
