Brief Description: Finished elongating hole in fuse to drop landing g
We thought when we went out this morning that with just a little more fitting the right landing gear bracket would drop into place. However we found that there were multiple areas that were causing it to stand off the center bulkhead. Some of the areas had to be filed with a very small file and sand paper. After taking it in and out about 20 times, I think that we have it right although we want know until we bolt it up which we will do next week. We plan to take the weekend off. We have a little more work to do on the external step before we can rivet into place. The drill bit for the right angle drill came in from Aircraft Spruce today so we now can finish that project. I asked the question as to whether I should put another step on the left side of the plane and all seem to think that I should. S.O.O next week we have to do that also.
